Now there is no sense why we people are thinking and talking more about Ganguly's comeback when BCCI selector proved they are very strong and strict to handle Ganguly case. No more blame to Kiran More, he is out of the selection committee but the same attitude towards Ganguly by current Chairperson Vengsarkar. All we can do guessing, nothing else !!!!!!!!!

Just few days back he scored a hundred in domestic level match and today's local newspapers stated Vengsarkar's comments on that " he and Laxman to be more consistent".

Its seems somethink cooking strongly in selection panel of Indian cricket team about Ganguly and Laxman. Hope for the best !!!!!!!

Hi,

Of course he is having chances to come back. He was a victim of politics. If people say that performance is the team then i would ask why Raina, Kaif, Sehwag, Pathan are still there in the team.

I guess Sehwag is still horrible inconsistent. Since the management has changed new thinking has came into the picture... he know (Mr. Dilip) knows what exactly happens in the field.

Even Ganguli was inconsistent in his batting/bowling/fielding but still he is having 40+ average... I am sorry to say but if he would have play in team so far... he must have been closed to Sachin's centuries.. He is the only person to perform in Australia when our so call great batsman was failed continuingly.

Frankly tell me one thing when our batsman has performed in crucial matches (Regardless of the opposition) they all comes & goes like they are a fresher... scoring too many centuries or thousands of runs doesn't prove that they are great.. Its just a matter of paper work thats it.

Take Rick's example... he just scored a half century in last 12 matches.. does that mean he should go away....??? Mike Hussey is one of the great Batsmen that Ausies found so far... but he could play only 2 innings in last 6 matches...

Think about these aspects before criticizing my answer.

Regards,
Santosh

Oh I say previous chaps, what a spiffing stable question. Jolly stable then. I heavily do no longer think of that cricket is a gentlemens recreation anymore! the recreation is only too professional and there is too lots money at stake. As for characters, i think of between the video games best of all time could have been the huge and loud Merv Hughes! As for immediately, i'm undecided there are any actual characters - returned, too professional. ok then, off for some tea and cucumbersandwichess. Cheerio then.

Truely speaking he will not be back in the indian team till Greg chappel is there. And chappel is here to make the indian team eliminated by the league matches itself. Semi-finals and final of the world cup are far away. Greg will make the Indian players and spectactors mentality such that if india will win against Zimbabwe level team then also we will see it as a big achievement.
Playing against Australia and S Africa level team in world cup will be a one-sided game for indians.
See the story, after Greg came as a coach -
. Ganguly, the second best batsman of team is out of team.
. Dravid - Sehwag, Pioneers of Indian batting are now out of form. For sehwag now 50 runs score is 1 out of 15 games. And Dravid lost his consistency badly.
. Tendulkar, the greatest batsmen of the world, was commented by chappel that he has lost his confidence. And the result is that he failed to cross even 10 runs mark in last 3 games played against Aussie.
. Pathan, the future of the team doesn't know his role.
. Kaif, is being dropped when he plays well and being kept in the team during bad patch.
. Yuvraj, only get charmed during greg's period. But that was all due to Yuvi's ability. But unfortunately he may not be there in WC 2007 due to injuries.
Remember my words, if greg remains as an indian coach even for an year, then we will find our team full of players like RAINA, etc. and then playing against Zimbabwe level team will be a big contest for our indian team.

So the theme is that not only Ganguly, but most of the senior players of the team are under question now, and finally Indian team's future is not good till Greg chappel is there as a coach.

I think not. He's a good player but his behavoir is not accepatable in the ground. Worst disciplined player after Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds and Bradd Hogg

He has a chance to come back in the Indian Team if he continues to perform well as he did for East Zone against North Zone in Duleep Trophy Tournament

POLITICS will decide.

Chance is remote if Shri Pawar and his good friends Shri Vengsarkar, Cheppel continue.

POLITICS
decided them to continue even though there are many highly capables, who are kept at bay.

Even though Ganguly made 170 N.O. at Assam and may be capable to come back,
his chance is remote - BHAI THIS IS POLITICS.
