Last time I checked the Democrats are not in charge. There is actually a balance now, before the republicans controlled everything and were "in charge."

Yes, there will be fundmental changes in the way things are done.
There will no longer be a "blank check" for bush.
We will not bring the troops home immediately, but minimum wage will be an issue, Stem Cell Research will be a priority, Hopefully, the "wall" will be stopped before it gets built.
If the republicans wish to do something about illegal immigrants,
they need to build a few hard labor prisons for those that come in for illegal activities such as drugs or guns, instead of sending them back for Mexico to "deal" with.
If I go to Mexico and break their laws, do you think that they would just ship me back to the good old US?
For those immigrants that come in to work, and pay taxes on their earnings, should be allowed to become citizens.
and "Rummy" is OUT!!! Thank God!!!

They already did and Democrats aren't even in charge yet. Last week Bush loved Rumsfeld and Cheney. Less than 24 hours after the election he fired Rumsfeld without the consent of Cheney. That's a hugh change already;. Wait, there will be more.

Lot of changes coming, but you may not like them. Higher taxes. Loss of your rights under the Constitution, and maybe changes to the Constitution.

You will see changes like those of the French and Russian revolutions, "takeovers" by the "people". Only differences, no bayonets or guillotines. It may take six years for Americans to come to their senses, and a lot of damage will have been done.

Congratulations, my american brothers and sisters, we have taken back our country!

And yes, as stated in previous answers, changes have already started.
