I had the pleasures of watching david and goliath the other day.
i thougth it was soooo cute. It was Goliaths birthday and david wanted to buy him a steak...but he didnt have enough money...so he raked an old lays yard and 10 dollars blew in the yard...so he took it..and lied to his mom...he then wanted to buy goliath a collar but Goliath told him he wasnt honest about the money , to give it back.....

I truely appreciate shows like this..old or not. they have a meaning behind them.
when I have children this is what i would want them to watch...what do you think?
did you find that episode to be inspirational at all?

Yes, TV programs that are inspirational and have a moral are good for children. Plus, with Davey & Goliath there isn't any violent content. The best episodes, though, were the half hour specials, in particular the ones shown on Christmas & New Years!

good show for little kids. Message is positive. If you get them any tapes, READ the title and packaging as Adult Swim on Cartoon network has a program that looks similar called "Moral Oral". It's about a little boy name Oral and it's South Park with the Davey and Goliath puppets.

I loved Davey and Goliath when i was a kid and it is still wonderful. Veggie Tales is another really great one for teaching morals and values.
Shows like that helped me have a heart for what was right.

I loved that show when I was little. Actually, every friday at 2:30pm, our kindergarten teacher will turn the TV on and let us watch it. I guess because it had positive messages and taught us about morals.

I basically understand we've VeggieTales - Dave and the great Pickle. maximum young ones dislike their greens yet no longer while they exchange into colourful comic strip characters with stupid personalities and voices. The comic strip is quite new, i do no longer think of this is the single you asked approximately.
