I will give you some hope, albeit perhaps not relevant to you. My uncle Wayne was a skinny shrimp until he hit 17 and then over the next year or so grew to 6'7". His parents, my grandparents, were no more than 5'8" - gramps and 5'4" grams. I believe the great growth spurt occurred when he zoomed into puberty. So, if you are a 'late bloomer' puberty wise, you may be another Uncle Wayne.
Five foot eight is certainly a respectable height for a man. If you don't get much beyond that then welcome to the under six feet club. I know kids often attach height to a sport but that is a waste of time. We know that some very small basketball players had/have a fine career at about the height you are now. I am 6'1" and that is perfection as I see it in height. Never went through a gawky stage where the feet are much too big for the body, etc. If you top out at 5''9" you are going to have a great height as long as you keep your weight in check.
Look, we are born with the genetics we are born with. Those little fellows will determine a whole lot of physical facts about us. End of story. What we really hope for in this life is good to reasonable health as we make our way up to the wise old man status. Chill.

if you want to have a good idea ask you parents how tall you were when you were 2 1/2 years old. Then double your height, this is a pretty accurate way to determine how tall you will be when you stop growing :)

If you are the same height as your parents you probably won't get much taller. Depending on how tall your grandparents were at their peak, you may get to 5'9" or so.

eh, you'll probably stay around that height...maybe grow a few inches, but I'm not thinking any higher that 6'...
anyways, thats cute lol, girls like guys who aren't too short and aren't too tall...it makes kissing them just right!!!

Mu husband was about the same at the same age and he's 5'9" now. I don't think he stopped growing until he was like 19!
