Barack Obama has a better chance to win, so I would consider him the better candidate.
There are too many people out there who have such hatred for Hillary Clinton and would automatically vote against her. I don't think she would have much of a chance to win.

Though Clinton has more political experience, I am still not sure that the American public is quite open enough to vote a woman into the Oval Office. That is not to say that we (as a whole) will not be open in the future. Just with Clinton not being very popular and the only option as a woman candidate, Americans may just write her off and keep looking for the next woman president. I think Obama will make it onto the ticket as the democratic candidate and If the democrats pull a Kerry/Edwards again, Clinton will be is V.P. Obama is quite charismatic and seems to have alot to offer the people. We'll see what happens! ;)

I believe Obama has the better chance of defeating a Republican candidate in 2008. There are an awful lot of people who simply hate Hillary Rodham Clinton (particularly men); the only reason I can see for this is that they feel threatened by her. However, illogical reason or not, such people won't vote for her in 2008, and I prefer a candidate that is electable, and given the choice between Obama and Clinton, I'd say Obama is the one who can do it.

I was just talking about Obama this evening. I think that he will need some very good people to market him. I don't know enough about him except to say that he is very well-liked.
but you have to admit there are some issues that might hold him back. The first thing is that his name sounds too ethnic for the Americans who are used to Anglo-sounding names. I am sure that is what prevented Mario Cuomo from becoming a serious contendor for the presidency. His name is too Italian. Obama sounds African, plus it sounds too much like Osama.
The other thing is that he is Black. Regardless of how good he is, there are still too many people in this country who cannot get past that.
Hillary has been marketed very well and has a good chance of going all the way. she also has the help and support of her husband, who was a very popular president.
If Obama is half as good as he looks, I would be delighted to vote for a Clinton/Obama team.

Hmm. I really love Obama AND Hillary, but I think its a good idea to be realistic about Hillary's chances in 08. The problem is that the neo-cons HATE her. I mean they really loathe her, and whats so ridiculous about that is that they can't even articulate a reason. I think its just based on their general distaste for smart, powerful women, but the fact remains that she is so terribly disliked that she probably cannot win. You know what ticket I'd like to see - either an Obama/Edwards ticket or an Edwards/Clinton ticket..I really think John Edwards has a lot to offer this country, and I think that Hillary could get in on the ticket as long as shes running as VP. Fun stuff to start considering, now that we've WON CONGRESS BACK....WOO HOO!!!

I would vote for Hillary Clinton, she is an excellent candidate, and has a very strong leadership personality, that is ruled by logic.
The only problem I have with her is her pro gun control stance, but the National Rifle Association would never let her get anti-gun policies through.
So overall, I think that she would be the best candidate to fix all of the f-u-c-k ups of the Bush Administration.

I so want Barack Obama to run, and I would vote for him. I don't really like Hillary Clinton that much. If she was the Democrat on the ballot for president, I would vote for her though.

Congrats on looking a piece of writing from a gossip website from a number of months in the past. at the start Obamagirl has no longer suggested she helps Hillary and if she has please furnish the link from an excellent source. On her own website she describes Obama because of the fact the subsequent President and states she basically made a remark approximately Hillary's overall performance on the youtube debate.

I think Barack Obama is a good spokesman for the Democrats. He's a new voice, and doesn't have a whole lot of baggage that would make it difficult for him to get elected - yet. I think he could raise the political discussion above the gutter that it's in now.
Hillary, while qualified, has too much baggage, and the name Clinton. We'd be in for a major food fight if she runs.

I think a deal has been cut for Hillary to lead the Dem ticket for president and Obama to run as her VP.
