If I have the ability to write in rhyme, non stop...and do not have any record deals......?

Question

Is there a market for it? Should I be concerned about copyright infringement on something I didn't copyright? If it comes to me as natural as wind whips autumn leaves, should I try to bank on it? What publisher would take a bunch of poems from one person without being over critical about verse, or structure?

Yeah... totally try to get some cash on it. Most singers, for example, nowadays don't actually write their songs themselves, they have writers to do it for them.

Writing in rhyme does not necessarily make good poems or lyrics. In fact, the best songs don't have a rhyming structure.

I can do like you..I think in rhyme.....I tried submitting my work to greeting card companies....no dice....I offered my work " free" to a local newspaper in hopes of being discovered..they printed a poem a week for 2 years...no contract.....I sent my stuff to singers...nothing.....once you have published a poem no one can steal it. Publishing means in print as in the internet.....newspaper....etc.
I hope you find someone that loves your work and you get rich....don't stop expressing yourself for poets are gentle souls and are loving and kind human beings.

First, you can always do a poor man's copyright to protect what you have.

second, I would start with poetry journals to get exposure for your poetry.

Third, find an agent that specializes in poetry to help

you should totally google this problem. i know that everyone says it, but it WORKS. it produces RESULTS.
i know what you mean. i have that problem sometimes. i say problem because my friends and teachers keep yelling at me to stop it, so =/. i think it's kinda cool tho.
but i think that you should cash in on your tallent and you should research this problem.
