My son was length checked and weight checked today... the length checked him at 27 1/4".... He's just over 4 months old.. He was only 20" at birth.. Is it normal for him to grow so much so fast? Has anyone had their child grow that fast?

That's about the same as my daughter. Young babies grow FAST.

my son was 19 in at birth 6 1/2 lbs.at 8 months he was 30 inches 20 lbs.

My son gained 2 full pounds and grew 3 inches in his first 3 weeks of life.
