If you mean removing 4 people from the title of a house, you must create a deed going from all the owners of the home, to the owners you want on title, however all people currently on title (including those 4) must sign the deed acknowledging they are transferring ownership to someone else.. To do that, just go to either a title/abstract company, or most lawyers will do it as well. I hope that answers your question.

You've left more confusion than anything. If you are talking about a lease agreement and you need to remove some of the names, then you will have to approach the landlord about signing a new lease or a new version of the old lease. If you are talking about the deed and someone's name being on it, they are considered by law to be part owners and the only way to remove their names is to buy their portion of the property. Usuallly this requires a quitclaim deed where they give up any claim to ownership in exchange for something, usually a percentage of equity and a percentage of value. You will need to clarify which problem you are facing.
