It's not that more kids are gay or bi, it's that it's safer for bi and gay kids to come out at an early age or work their curiosities out, rather than suppressing it until middle age. (We've seen how well *that* works--Foley, Haggard, McGreevey...) It's a very good thing. If some aren't "really" gay...well, some aren't "really" straight, either, and they'll figure it out eventually.

I think maybe because they can now express it more. I think if you were from a few generations ago you couldn't be so open about everything. No days the path has been paved and the young ones can do as they please.
I guess in a way a lot more younger people understand what their sexuality is about and they aren't afraid to show it. Either that or they are immature and think it is cool. It's not cool it's a life that you have to deal with.

Okay I'm having to go on if I understood you right. It may be because the last generation was racist and homophobic as a rule, so now this one is rebelling by being not only tolerant but obsessed.
I personally haven't noticed this and I think you are being melodramatic. I've always went out with whoever I wanted, regardless of their race or gender.

I think that many younger people today are much more bold, in-your-face individuals than in the past. Most people are bisexual if the truth be known, kids are just exploring their way through life..as they should. Is it encouraged??? I don't think so..it would seem that girls do more exploring, and then turn around and yell the loudest when the guys do it???? What's up with this?

I think younger people are more open to at least talking about it and talking about their own exploration of the areas..in my day...a man didn't even mention the word gay or homosexual without being thought of as one of those...now it's better...more open...I hope it helps people who are gay ..to come to view some truths about their lives more easily than it was for previous generations.

Young generation...umm I'm 18,am i counted?
If counted, well for me,its like still kinda confuse.Of course I know difference between male and female, but then is the feeling that count at that moment. It should be natural and encouragement doesn't really matter.

I don't think it's any more popular. However, you are evidently more aware of it now. Back in the bad old days, a lot of gay people used to think they were the only ones.

i guess it might be because it makes them stand out, people are more open to talk about it,some times they are just trying to find them selves and where they may fit in ,it just might be experimental, who knows todays society is very open on very personal subjects.good in some areas bad in others.
