I think the Left has a better chance at winning the White house if they leave the left wing nutjobs like Clinton and Kerry out of the race and run a more moderate candidate. I kinda think that running a far left candidate will result in a Republican President just to keep things in balance. Most of the country is conservative / moderate anyhow. Opinions.

I still remeber the unethical behavior of the Clinton Whitehouse and how Hillary was right in the middle of it (something about lost documents etc...), that would keep me from voting for her, and the fact that she is way to Liberal for my beliefs. Her gender is only an issue to someone who would imply that is to me.

Hillary pretty much IS the nominee. Kerry has taken himself out with his moronic remarks about our soldiers. John Edwards is a lightweight dufus with an annoying southern accent. I don't think that Obama is quite ready yet. I think that Hillary has already amassed more money than Bush did for the entire 2000 campaign. I think that she has already received the blessing from George Soros, who is now the real power behind the Democratic Party. She has already been positioning herself as a conservative Democrat -- hawkish and beginning to modify her stance on abortion. This is all just window dressing of course to hide her real socialist core. The American people are just stupid enough to fall for it. I believe that she will be the first woman president. May God help us all.

I think that either extreme would be bad. I agree that a Republican will probably end up as president again if there is an extreme liberal running. BUT, if that that extreme liberal is Hillary Clinton, I think it's possible. Moderate candidates would be nice, but seems unlikely.
I disagree that most of the country is moderate or conservative. I think around 20% are independent and liberals/conservatives each have 40%. Think: The majority of elderly people voting are likely to be conservative, while people who are younger are probably more liberal.

Actually, most of the nation considers itself moderate to liberal. Don't buy into the nonsense that Rove has been selling for the past 6 years. Most people do NOT agree with the ultra-conservatives, but every time they disagree, they're called nutjobs or unpatriotic. And if you've been following Hillary Clinton's career, you'll notice that over the last 2 years, she's made a subtle shift toward the middle, probably hoping to capture the votes of more conservatives. She doesn't seem to realize that will never happen, and that she's alienating the few people who would actually vote for her.
What the Democratic party needs is someone with guts. Someone who will stand up to the mud-slinging and nonsense and tell the critics who throw such ridiculous sound bytes as "The terrorists WANT the Democrats to win" and tell them to go to hell.

They won alot of races this election with more moderate candidates instead of the too liberal ones they have been presenting. I am a conservative democrat, and I will not vote for Hilary. The only reason I voted for Kerry is that Bush is an idiot. Hopefully, they have learned what the American voter wants.

The only hope of the dems is a moderate. The American people just are not in synch with their left-wing agenda. Personally, I think it a tragedy for them that Joe Lieberman was forced to become an indpendent. I know allot of moderates AND republicans who would have supported him, regardless of his political affiliation.
Alas, the only reason the Republicans lost this almost dead-locked election is because they did not stay true to their conservative roots. It hurt them.

She might run, and hopefully won't win the Democratic Primary.
Biden, Edwards and Obama are better candidates. And all three are MODRATES, not left or right. We need balance returned to our country, not more division with extremists from either major party. And don't count out third party candidates!!! Especially at local elections.

Yes I agree. A candidate more like Barack Obama. He has even said the dems like Hilliary Clinton are too far left even for him. Now we have a female speaker of the house that thinks she is the man.

Yup I think they can win with Hillary. Alot of people like her. Are you just afraid that a woman will be President? The Democrats need to stop trying to pander to people and take a stand once and for all. They should not have to attempt to be conservative or moderate, they should run as who they are.
There is no way a Republican will win as President after Bush has screwed up so bad anyway. So we could run freaking bugs bunny and he will still beat your candidate.

If something i think of that a President who stops utilising our defense force as a livestock prod to control different worldwide places might scale returned the probabilities of any terrorist assaults. they do no longer hate us because of the fact of our way of existence, they hate us because of the fact our government tries to rule the international with an iron fist. i think as though international family members ought to easily flow an prolonged way if completed precise. If shall we artwork with the governments of international places that residing house terrorist communities, then shall we make it lots harder for those communities to function. a lot of those communities have elementary avenues for recruiting and investment that ought to be stopped basically via their government. cutting them off on the source is in many situations lots extra effectual than turning over each log and seeing what falls out. playstation - Hillary isn't the respond. She's a political coward. be happy to vote for the different liberal candidate however.

Yes, and they just might do it. First the hildabeast has already positioned herself on both sides of most issues and has her moderate disquise on right now.
The lunatics in her own party will make her look sensible by comparison. What makes her most dangerous is not just the sort of things she would do with the job but that she just might win.
