it really doesn't matter. They are both underpowered. The four will have to work a lil harder thats true. I believe the six only has 190 hp and the four is 172, not too much of a difference but definitely noticable. You'll go a little faster in the six but your gas mileage will be a little worse. Its pretty cool tho because you can use "flex-fuel" in the 2.7 liter which is ethanol based = You'll burn a little cleaner. If you have the extra cash i'd definitely opt for the 3.5 liter V-6 but if not um....toss a coin. I like the four because it is used in a lot of other vehicles like the old neon (and therefore the new caliber) and the pt cruiser and it has had solid reliability in the past. its a solid little engine if a bit unrefined. I guess what i'm saying is don't feel bad if you get the four

trust me on this one the 2.7 is GARBAGE!!!!!.....they are a very expensive and troublesome and brake down frequently and you need an engineering degree to work on them....if you don't belive me go to www.2.7fix.com and they will show you how to replace a 2.7 with a 3.5 in an interpid...but you cannot put that engine in a sebring....if you get a convertible you have no choice but to get the 2.7 good luck

The V6. It won't have to work as hard to power the vehicle.

Most will haul a load of somewhere around 1300k. Seems like you may have went over a touch.
