No and I don't think most people do.

It depends on exactly what happened as to how you get over it.

The death of someone you love is the hardest thing of all to get over and you never really do but the pain eases in time.

If the disappointment has been caused by someone jerking you around by doing mean or rotten things then that is hard to forget about.

I learned along time ago to just let things blow over, let it all go, Because in the end "Life Goes On" Life comes with disappointments think if Everything went well/smooth and went our way, Would life be worth living, When things get ruff/tuff and disappointments strike this is time to get tuff grow a backbone brush ya shoulders off and turn the negative into the positive and make yourself SHINE. It depends on what it is and how important it is to me. If it is something I'm passionate about, I handle my disappointment badly. I stew about it, cry, get angry, sulk and so on about it (off and on). It takes me a long while to accept it so finally I can live with it. It has to be something very, very important to me to make me bitter as that.

Not at first, but then I try to take a step back and look at the entire picture, get some advice from close friends, and usually I come out smiling :)

I've been bitter, and I've been disappointed, but I've never been bitterly disappointed.

NO. Two years ago two of my friends disappointed me. Two years later it does bother me. It's eating me alive. I think, if they'd talk to me about it , i would feel better about but i feel , they abanded me when i needed them the most.
