My first advise to you would be to get a 1st generation 4g63 block and put the cylinder head from your 2nd generation 4g63 on it. This will eliminate the chances of crankwalk developing in your engine...that way you are going to get more reliability.

As for the best turbocharger, turbo controller, and whatnot...get yourself an HKS catalog and start picking through it. HKS makes great aftermarket parts.

Some other good aftermarket companies to look at for turbo accessories would be Turbonetics, A'Pexi, Turbo XS, and Blitz...just to name a few.

I highly doubt you can put any kind of 6 or 8 cylinder in that car. The engine bay is pretty small and it would take way to much time, money, and fabrication to do a job like that.

And as for Jennifer's stupid f*****g answer. Her s****y little Integra LS wouldn't even be a race for an Eclipse GSX...she obviously knows nothing about cars. Although my 2000 Si Coupe would give you a run for the money...but thats cause I've already dumped loads of money into it...anyways...good luck with your Eclipse.

Also check out this website...they specialize in DSM's.

Did he not make it clear enough? He said if you dont like eclipses he dont want your imput. But on task there are alot of modifications you can do to the engine of an eclipse and with hardwork it would smoke any acura. Cold air intake, nitrous, Bored motor, blowoff valves, headers, as for turbos it is indeed with a stock turbo although you can go beyond that to a stage 2 or stage 3 which delievers more PSI. But the prices are steep almost as high as the car itself around 3000 for a stage 3. I would reccomend instead of turbo upgrade you get a super charger and a ram air with your factory turbo and it should have around the same amount of power for about 2500 less. Good luck and good job on choosing an awesome car!

Don't go blowing all the money now, make sure allmaintenancee is up to date including timing belts, other belts, gaskets, check the hoses and fluid levels since the car is awd and turbo your engine and transmission are going to be worn down a lot by this mileage so i would keep the cash in the bank in case somewhere down the line either of those fail. But use the money fornecessitiess for the car you just bought it no need to rush into anything big.
