I ordered a dell INSPIRON B130 from dell and with out all of the add ons it was just under 500
it took about a week to get here
it has windows xp home edition
a 15.5 inch screen
and it by far exceeds your expectations
I use mine for work and it is great it even comes with the networking card built in

Many reliable HP/Compaq, Dell. Select HDD as like new as possible.

i have dell b130 1g under $500.00 works good moves OK not a rocket but you can do lots with it for the price
