I guess that would depend on where you live, like in a micro-society, where I currently live I think its great, but when I move, I don't know what it will be like then, I would have to get used to a different micro- society. Overal I would give the US society a bad grade. In my 40+ years I have seen society change, while some aspects remained the same.

US society is like a titanic which looks very good from outside but one day it is going to sink due to immorality present. And Indian society is like a broken ship which will not sink cos it knows how to survive with a broken ship and build a strong ship

we are led by professional liars (spin doctors), we are afraid of unpleasant truth and confrontation. we are lazy, refuse to look to our future and modify our behaviour for the survival of the planet and species.
our public education is miserable, our respect for each other is frequently nonexistant, nobody wants to take responsibility so we are now a nation of victims.
this has come about because of our financial wealth.
yes this is a negative view, but what statement is untrue?
