if you go to http://www.phobialist.com/index there is a whole list of phobias. I didn't find one to match what you asked, but growing up I was in much of the situation that you speak of. I never met a girl who was good enough for my mother. My mother didn't want any of my 4 sisters taking her anywhere, I had to do it. To even suggest that I was going to do something on my own would bring on the guilt trip, "well go ahead, but I probably won't be here when you get back..."
In looking at the list and going by personal experience, I would suggest the following phobias:
Autophobia- Fear of being alone or of oneself.
Gerascophobia- Fear of growing old.
Isolophobia- Fear of solitude, being alone.
Thanatophobia or Thantophobia- Fear of death or dying.
My reasoning is that as long as Mom has her son, Her "little boy" she will never be alone and she will have someone to take care of her. I finally has to say , at 23, that I was leaving home. It was the best break I ever made.....and Mom survived!

It's called crazy! I hope the son isn't a mama's boy, those are the worst and make for horrible boyfriends/husbands, i should know, since my ex- husband was one.

Mamma's boy!!! she feels all that he feels. When he is hurt, she is hurt. When he is down, you bet your sweet butt she is down with him. He will call her for everything. You can go ahead and try to take him into the outside world, but I guarantee when he runs into to something he has a dilemma with. Who do you think he is going to call. Mamma!!!

I don't know your situation, but I have seen this many times and in most cases it did not end until she passed.
Her son does not have to follow her desires, he has to learn that he has his own life. but if she is physically ill, he has guilt to deal with. NOT EASY

Not exactly sure what you are talking about. You mean sexually? or just a mom that's overprotective and wants to keep him inside where she thinks he'll be safe?

I don't have a clue outside of the fact that she's probably just overly protective....
