You're in a great situation if you read any books by Alexander Lowen. You're being "depressed" may be an awesome place in disguise, don't think of it as necessarily all bad ! When you're down, you can become well grounded, like roots of a tree, a fertile and strong starting place for healthy and solid personal growth better than any other. I got some more resources to share with you too if you want. You might not need to stay on Rx forever and you CAN find unconditional joy without drugs.
Take care my friend ! talk to you later :)

I'm not sure what your first question was, but I have something to share with you. I was diagnosed as manic depressive/ Bi-Polar 9 years ago at the age of 18. I was put on every medication under the sun. Some made me sick others made me a zombie, and one could have killed me because I was taking it with vodka (by the way, I'm also a recovering alcoholic) Anyway, after 6 years of changing medications going to AA meetings and still hating my life, I fell on my face and called out to God. I didn't know what would happen, I just knew I didn't want to feel like killing myself one minute and be flying high the next. And you know what, God has carried me since then. I am no longer on any medication and I have a relationship with God that carries me through the roughest storms of life, and believe me their have been a lot!! (My husband being in prison is one of them). Anyway, I'm not saying that you should just quit your medicine altogether, but please reach out to anyone you know that has a relationship with God or a hot-line that could help you anonymously. There is more power in prayer than you'll ever know til you try it and really know the One you are praying to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I pray this helps and God Bless you!!

Do for you first. If your friends and family care for you they will find a way to deal with it and if they don't you can only suggest that they get some help. Sometimes it takes getting away from the usual to get your head straight. Good luck and make things better for you.

Well, for those that feel abandoned while you get your meds straight pray for them. Love yourself first and those abandoned ones will follow. If not, damn them, go get your meds straight and stick around for the next one.

go to the hospital if that'll give comfort to you. If you want to do something horrible, try evaluating everything first. Are you ready to leave everything behind? That includes your friends and family. Then face the mirror. Talk to yourself. What is it that you really want to do? Now,...... DECIDE...

Your question will be deleted. TRUST ME. I have posted two of them about suicide. Both were deleted. Yahoo, does not want you asking any questions about suicide.

I FEEL WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. You can email me at NotToExpressive@aol.com

you need your medication, just take it... if it has side effects, try something else..ive had to try more than 5 diff. meds to find one that worked well.. but whatever you do dont kill yourself, its definitely not worth it.
