My boyfriend would like me to buy him a country cd. He plays the drums and he would like a cd to play along to. He want something that is country, but kind of rock and roll. I buy them, but the cd's usually only have 1 good, rock'in song on it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Anything Lynyrd Skynryd (Van Zandt on the country charts) is always a good choice, Montgomery Gentry is good,
but for good rockin country Travis Tritt is ALWAYS good.
Confederate Railroad is good for both sides.

Steve Earl!!! The album is title The essential Steve Earl and it rocks and also has some really good country tracks. Go to CD now and type in his name. His new stuff stinks because he got all political , His older stuff is great because he was drinking , doping and in a bad state of life. Those things all influenced a great talent within him.
