i play quarter back and i am in seventh grade i can give you some help. i usually calm my nerves and since my team and i have won all of californias football awards and trophies i would say keep your eye on a reciever. Go for the red lateral code and if you can fake a pas and start running to the end zone like crazy!(thats only if you are like twenty yards away from the end zone. My reciever gets nervous but i help him. Remember games when you win or lose it is always quarter backs that get the blame and dont worry i know you wont screw up.

here ya go from one CB to another:

put your hand on their thigh pad as you run, you'll feel the move, you can even slow them down a little if you press slightly without pass interfearing. Pop them as they come off the line if you're strong enough and faster then the wideout. if you aren't then give them a cushion so they don't beat you deep, read them till look for the ball, without losing the idea of where they are look for the ball yourself then make a decision to play the ball or the man...then do it with all you got..you go half way, you'll get burnt.

if you make one pass breakup, that's all i needed to calm my nerves...it's all cake after that first one.

Do not turn your shoulders unless you are reacting to the ball. if you are beat and trying to make it up, do not react to the head or eyes react to the hands. If you have equal speed he can not beat you if he can't turn you.
