I watched Billie Joe Armstrong sing wake me up when september ends, and he was crying, and it was very dramatic, he looked like he was in so much pain. I am very upset because it was to emotional, and that vision of his face being so red and the tears and pain, and Billie saying how hard it is to sing it, I want nothing to do with Greenday because now I feel obsessed and disturbed, i don't want to think about September either because it brings a vivid picture of his most dramatic performance...what do I do

I think so strongly about this for some strange reason....the only thing I can think of is these two things : My grandfather (who was like me 2nd dad, and this line "As my memory rests but never forgetes what I lost, wake me up when september ends"

This isn't a question. Maybe you need to really get into the pain, figure out what is still bothering you. Maybe you never went through the whole grieving process?

well you could see if he has a fan web-site and express this to him by way of via-e-mail, this would give him a chance to explain his views on his song/video and he will know that one of his fans is having a hard time with knowing what his video meant and how it made you feel. I am sure you will receive feedback, Go to Goggle.com type in the song, that would be a start, you may be a tad bit Emotional right now and this may be why it affected you so strongly, take care it will all work out, Billie Joe Armstrong's Number 1 Fan.
