Honestly it is unhealthy to loose more than 5 pounds in a week if you want to start loosing weight start by changing your eating habits. You only need 1200 calories per day to live. These need to be right calories. You should take a multivitamin and do start working with a physical therapist on a workout program that fits you special needs. You should speak to nutritionist about a 1200 calorie per day diet and stick to the menu plan they give you. The first ten pounds you loose will be water after that it will be harder to lose the weight so you must be dedicated to what ever program you go with. You must also approach this with a positive attitude and look at it as a change of lifestyle not a temporary vanity kick. Loosing weight is a process you can't just do it over night and have the weight stay off.

Ten pounds a week is unrealistic without exercise. Don't try to hurt yourself either. But with a change in the intake of foods and the frequency increasing with better choices, you may be able to lose ten pounds in the first month and 1-2 pounds a week for a couple of months. Double that if you consistanly exercise aerobic three to five days a week. Here's a great website for starting a diet plan. Worked for many people.

You can loose around 9-15 pounds with an 9 day Isagenix cleanse. 4 of the 9 days are shakes and soups only. The other days you get a sensible meal. Its the fastest way I know without starving. Because you get nourishment in the shakes. You feel a little hungry the first 2 days and then its pretty easy.

Stay away from the fats and carbs. Eat fruit and vegetables with a little bit of meat. Instead of drinking milk, drink soy milk or no milk at all. Don't snack at all. Go to suanas and hot tubs once a day but keep hydrated. Do light execise. You might not lose ten pounds but you'll lose at least 4 or 5.

1) Learn moderation. Don't go on any radical diet, just learn how to moderate your food. Do not take out your favorite foods--if you do, you're going to end up splurging and giving up.
2) Exercise isn't out, but it's limited. Have you tried a light swimming? Try going to a sports pool--one that is used for laps. Try walking in the water. Also, take a light walk. Remember: even 10 minutes of exercise will make a different.
3) Do not give up! Biggest thing--while you can't always exercise due to pain, you can always monitor your food. Don't expect immediate changes, and just be yourself.

Wow, I want the same answer. I call mine my inner tube. In the summer at least I wont drown.... I hope someone will give us an answer. I did do this diet once it is called the idiot diet, I swear! and it did work. Lose 9 lbs in 11 days. It tells you exactly what to eat and it is normal stuff. Maybe that will work for you.

my mom has a disk too i tell her too go vegan but she never does it but plzzz do im telling u will really really loose weight, dnt go vegetarian it wont change anything go vegan its very healthy if u eat right, only 2% of vegans are overweight!! i know ppl who have and they super thin now
