Why do tall women wear high heels?

I find that so annoying when a woman is 5'11" or 6 feet tall, she still wears 4 inch heels.

I'm 5' 11.5 inches tall and I wear heels all the time. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a tall girl wearing heels. If you are comfortable wearing heels do so.

The real question Joey, is why are you so annoyed with women who wear high heels? Who cares how tall they are? Unless of course you have that whole shorty baggage (as in you are short) thing going on. It does not seem to bother most men. Women look great in heels and we feel sexy in them. Who cares how tall we are? True, most of us who wear them are still not too tall. But why shouldn't a tall woman wear them?

because all women want the freedom and ability to wear high heels if they want to. We like to wear heels if we choose to! Just because a woman is tall doesn't take away her desire to be feminine and sexy!! Why should you find that annoying? There are far greater things in this world to be annoyed with! A woman needs to be free to be a woman! Any way she wants to be. Let her be.

P.S. I am only 5'2, but I can relate to my tall sisters! ha ha

I'm betting you get annoyed because she is TALLER then you. Get over it already. As a woman who is almost 5'11 I wear heels all the time.. We wear them for the same reason why short women wear them.. Because we WANT TO. If a woman's height intimidates you ... to bad.Get a pair of boots to make yourself taller. Women who are tall and wear heels have self confidence.

It's mostly fashion. There's something attractive about the way a heel makes a woman's leg look. Oh, and apparently, most tall women are not afraid of heights! :)

high heels are more about the leg shape than about height. a woman's leg looks nicer with a high heel than with a flat shoe. i am 5'1" and when i have high heels it makes the difference. it is not height.

i am a tall women 5'10'' and i wear heels because i love them. i walk straighter, my back is slightly arched, and my legs look more sculpted. over all i feel oh so sexy when i wear the heels!
