So apparently, I'm in sixth grade and I have a boyfriend.
I only said yes to him because I didn't want to hurt his feelings and everybody told me to say yes to him, plus, I liked him at that time. But now, my feelings have changed for him and I regret for what I have said to him. I wanna break up with him now but the problem is, he's been liking me since 5th grade, and I don't want to hurt his feelings. Can anybody please help me?

You're in the 6th grade. You should not have a boyfriend. You should be doing girly things with girls and studying to get good grades. You'll have planty of time for that. My daughter is in 7th grade and she is not allowed to have a boyfriend or to have boys call our home. She doesn't even miss it. We do so many things together until she doesn't have time. Start hanging out with your Mom, sisters or friends then you won't have to worry your pretty little head with boring stuff like boys (Smile).

I agree that you should just tell him like it is. It's the 6th grade - I highly doubt either of you know what love is, so it shouldn't hurt either of you. In Jr. High, most "couples" are just in it for the status. He probably didn't want to be known as a loser that doesn't have a girlfriend, so he wanted one, I take it. Just stuff young adults do.

Tell him how you feel, he will move on to another girl. Your young you have plenty of time to stress over boys. Do your school work and make good grades and later worry about boys.

Make him break up with you. Start acting silly and flirting with other boys.

OR

Tell him that your parents said that you are too young to date, so you have to break up with him because of THEM.

Good luck

Just get it over with, that way the pain's over with quicker and more time to heal. Then you can focus more on school.

If he is your boyfriend then you should stay togeather. If you like him you should not break up with him. If you don't like him then you can tell him that you are going to break up with him.
