Good question. I "divorced" members of my family when they crossed the line with my children. I haven't talked to my sister in 4 years. And I don't miss her a bit.

You need to decide what your limit is. My limit was a family member harming my child.

I believe that when your life becomes unhappy because of some people in your family or not, there comes a time when enough is enough and you have to cut them off to preserve your sanity and happiness. Yes I think there are valid reasons and no one can tell you when you you need to do this. Only you can decide, so if this is what you need to do, do it regardless of what others say here, or in your personal life. It will be difficult, but walking away may alleviate some problems. I have done it.

Hi
I wonder what provoked your niece to do that?
How did she know about the warrant? How come you did not go to court to avoid the warrant?

When is when you've had enough... but remember getting them out is easy... when you might want them back they won't want you. Good luck.
