There are many possible causes of getting a urinary tract infections but to answer your questions you have to know the following things:
>>The physical act of intercourse itself produces conditions that increase the possibility of having UTI .
>> Unlubricated condoms may injure vaginal tissue and make it easy to get infections which can also result to urinary tract infection.
>>Some women experience UTI as an allergic reaction to latex in condoms.
>> Sex and any sexual activities including any act involved which touches the female organ (such as fingering) could cause a UTI if any bacteria had gained access to the urethra thus infecting the urinary system.
For those above reasons good hygiene should always be practiced and be sure that the hands touching your "sensitive" organ are washed before being used. Cleanliness of the anal area before and after sex should be maintained to lessen the risk of getting UTI due to the reason that bacteria from the anal region is usually the cause of the urinary tract infection. Bear in mind also that sex is not just the cause oh UTI, there are many causes not related to sex. ♥

Okay well UTI is caused by bacteria getting into the bladder feeding off the sugar and multiplying. How it gets into the bladder well could be many things although sex especially rough is a major corporate. Swimming is one soap can be one wiping back to front can cause it. It is not sexually transmitted it happens for example if there is some bacteria on the outside of the vagina the penis can trust it into the urethra and from there it finds its way to the bladder. That is why you should always pee after sex, swimming, showering. More water and cranberry juice are good preventative. You don't want to keep getting them! The more you get the more susceptible you are to more. I have a chronic UTI problem so I know all about caring for them before they take care of you! Fingering can push it up there but really it is unlikly. If he had dirty hands you would most likley end up with Bacteria Vaginosis or a Yeast Infection but not a UTI.

I believe if you check it out that the infection could be caused by wiping yourself when you have a bowel movement from back to front instead of from front to back. This commonly occurs in women and the bacteria from the wrong procedure of cleaning yourself after a bowel movement can cause bacteria to get into the urethra. It could also have been caused by your boyfriend using his unclean finger which carried the bacteria up through the urethra.

Some women are just prone to UTIs. However, there are ways to combat it. The few that I know of are....always drink a lot of water. This will flush out your system and prevents bacteria from wreaking havoc on you. Also urinating after intercourse will also help to aid in ridding your body of any invading bacteria as well.

Yeah, it's a possibiltity. Next time make sure his hands are clean. UTI are caused by bacteria that get up in the uretha. So, it could've been from his fingers, or poor hygiene. Make sure to wipe from front to back and also, it's a good idea to urinate after you have sex.

Yes that could be it. Tell him to clean before and after sex. I always tell my b/f "DID YOU WASH YOUR HANDS!!?" everytime he tries to put his hands down there lol You got to be clean! UTI's suck..they hurt so bad! Also, try to go urinate right after you have sex. You can go to webmd.com and type in UTI in the search bar..it will give you a lot of useful information. :)

You can get a urinary tract infection from sex, or from not going to the bathroom when you have to urinate... some women are just susceptible. I have a friend who used to get them all the time, from sex with her husband, from masturbation -- just about anything.
My recommendation is to drink lots of cranberry juice, as that seems to help lots of women to prevent getting them.
It is always helpful to drink lots of water, too.

OMGosh. I am just horrified with your lack of knowledge. You have a computer can you please read and become a bit more knowledgeable about your body. UTI from sex is usually due to not emptying your bladder before or soon after sexual intercourse. Please stop having sex until you are ready to be more knowledgeable about your body and keep that boys parts out of you, By the way I am SO glad you aren't pregnant. Read, educate your self and realize there is more to you than what is below the waist.....
