I was working for a apt. management company, we had a bad falling out. So I no longer work for them. I have tried to contact them to get my personal tools back and return their keys and some supplies that belong to them. I can not get them to respond. What should I do? Do I have any legal rights to my personal belongings

Contact a lawyer. Most lawyers offer a free consultation. Have them send a letter to the company stating that when you get your personal property back, you will return their keys...actually, a good thing to do is to leave the keys with the lawyer in case they decide to damage any property and try to blame it on you since you still have access. That way you can say that you didn't have procession of the keys at the time of the "Vandalism".

call the sheriffs office and ask one of them to meet you there to return and ask for your stuff having them there means theres not any grounds for a law suit for either party try leaving a voice-mail or machine answer that thats the plan as far as you are concerned to involve the deputies
