How do you calculate the grade with the following conditions:
Homework is 10 % of total grade
Quiz is 15 % of total grade
Laboratory is 25 % of total grade
Test is 50 % of total grade

Respectively, I got 100%, 93.15%, 100% and 81.58%.

How would you calculate the final grade in the course?

Well, you seem like you're in good shape.
Homework is 10% of your grade and you got 100 sot that contributes 10 to your grade;
Quizzes were 15% of your grade and you got 93.15. 15% of 93.15 is 13.97.
Lab was 25% of your grade and you got 100 so that piece is 25;
and your test was 50% of your grade and you got 81.58 so that piece is 40.79.
Adding up all the pieces gives you 89.76. A really good grade but sucks if your teacher is firm about rounding up-maybe you can do some extra credit for a 1/4 percent!

.10(100)+.15(93.15)+.25(100)+.5(81.58)=89.7925

your grade is about a B+ or A-
(depends if you get to round up your score or something)

(.1 * 100%) + (.15*93.15%) + (.25*100%) + (.5*81.58%) = Final Grade

Final Grade = 89.7625%

you do 10(100%) + 15(93.15%) + 25(100%) + 50(81.58%) = your grade in percent. remember 100% = 1 so 81.58% = .8158

Consider the grade in each part (homework, quiz, lab, test) as just a number (disregard the %). Now multiply each of these by the percentage it is worth towards the grade (eg the homework score is 10% of 100). Then add them all together to get the final grade (which you can now express as a percent). The reason I say to ignore the percent in each portion, is that it is sometimes confusing to deal with percentage of a percent. But in fact, the scores are just numbers; you could call them "points".
