I am sending a hello note to a guy I used to be friends with in high school. He and I have lost touch since then, but recently he added me to his myspace, and we haven't sent messages yet, but of course we remember each other since we were such good friends in senior year. Well, I wanted to be first to send a little note hello, but I am not sure what to say or how to word it where it wont just say hey what are you up to now...any suggestions?

Just talk about things that you have done since you last saw him and ask him if he has seen any of your mutial friends.
Thats a start and it asks him to respond.

honestly just tell him what you are thinking it does not have to be some magic words since you were good friends in high school then you don't have to go through all of this

Tell him you were happy to find him on myspace & ask him what he's been up to and tell him what you've been up to. Just talk to him like you normally would when you were friends.
