Ignoring your conscience is never a good idea. It means you know something is wrong. If suppressed, you grow cold, but it comes out in other ways.
Its common decency to make amends if you have wronged or hurt someone and you know it. Letting a person know you are sorry can be healing for both of you.
The world needs more people who want to do right by others.
If you feel you were both wrong, or even if you think they won't forgive you, you can only expect one person to do the right thing, and that's you. Even if the other person never comes around, you can sleep with a clear conscience knowing you did what was in your power to make things right.

I quit that wrong and right stuff, it only leads to guilt and that's not part of who i am, if i hurt someones feelings, and i wasn't being nasty or hateful, rather truthful and loving, then no i don't feel bad. If it was intentional as an attack, then i will ask for their forgiveness this brings a person in with you, not exclude. To say your sorry implies that you have done something wrong, so that's canceled out.

Are you sorry? If so -- then apologize. Offer to make it right (if you can). In order to be forgiven for something you did wrong, you must be contrite -- in other words, you must regret what you have done. Apologize, don't do the wrong thing again and learn from your mistake. Then you can forget about it with a clear conscience.

That is the inner you, trying to tell you that you are a good person, and that you would feel better about yourself if you apologized. We are all human, and from time to time say things we don't mean when we are angry, and our pride stands in our way of saying we are sorry, but life is to short not to apologize, and when you do you are showing that you are a thoughtful considerate person that has feelings, and care about other people!
