What if Nazi Germany had not betrayed Russia?

The question has bothered me for some time. Many of Germany's casualties came from that specific part of the war: the betrayal of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Would the Nazis have proved triumphant, or would have the Allies won the war anyway?

I too have thought about this and come up with the following conclusion. This was bound to happen eventually, Hitler wanted total World Domination (meaning the whole world). It is said that Hitler had TB and a variety of other disease other people of out time get in old age. Hitler actually speed up his metabolism so much by taking speed before speeches and parties etc., it is believed his body aged inside more quickly and mutated, causing him to contract these illnesses. Hitler knew he was going to die soon, and wanted to try to have World Domination before he died. He opened up on all fronts, and was just beaten by a far superior and larger Allied Force. Hitler's troops were tired, Hungry, overworked, unsupplied and so on.
It is in my opinion, if Hitler did not attack Russia, He would've beaten the allies, because he had enough troops for 2 fronts. After defeating the Allies, Japan, who wouldve defeated China and the US, and Germany would attack Russia together. Therefore crushing Russia. The Allies did not win the war, Hitler lost it with poor tatical decisions toward the end of the war.

If Germany had not of betrayed Russia, then Russia would have betrayed Germany. The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was just too fragile an alliance to last long.

Nazi Germany and the USSR would have went to war anyways, just a while from then, if they dont invade in 1941, then they probably defeat Britain, and sieze North Africa and the middle east, then if they could convince Japan to attack Britains colonies, and then Russia maybe after the defeat of Britain then they could have won the War and defeated Russia later, though it is doubtful that the U.S. would have let Britain fall, the reason we did not intervene is because Germany invaded Russia, so their are so many possibilities it is impossible to discern them all.

There is no simple answer to this . However it is unlikely that the Nazis would have lived peacefully with the Russians for long as one of the main planks of Hitler's philosophy was opposition to communism which is why so many rich Germans supported him and his intention, declared in Mein Kampf , to seek more lebensraum for Germany in the east.

If the germans had not split their forces to fight on both the European front AND the Russian front...the war in europe would have gone on MUCH longer...long enough for the Germans to have completed their work on the atomic bomb and then...since the US only had the one they used in Japan the Germans could have used their V2 rockets to send theirs to, say Washington DC, or New York and the US would have been hard pressed to make any further progress against them....the Japanese would have recended their surrender, began more agression aginst the US in the Pacific and things could have been much differend. We might all be watching the local news on channel Funf (five in German) or be saying "Moshi Moshi" everytime we answer the phone (traditional Japanese telephone greeting).

your question is what would happened if the Nazi's had not attacked Russia ...what would have happened is that then the Nazis would have finished off England and the allies would not have had a base of operation to invade Europe so there would have never been a d-day to start the down fall of the German government

I think that the russians would have eventually invaded Germany.
The germans were not prepared to fight on two fronts and were not prepared for Russia, yet they struck first.
The problem for Germany was not enough technological development and build up was done to eventually fight everyone.
Germany needed more powerful axis friends to dilute the Allies.
The allies had the USA to help out - whereas the germans went everywhere too quickly.
