i personally don't understand what the big deal is with a person being either party. i feel that all that matters is that the person in office is doing what's best for us and that the issues at hand are important to you.

For the same reason people are so against Republicans...
I'm sorry. Political humor there. It's not so much that everyone's against Democrats or Republicans, it's more that the parties are so against each other that it seems like it. It also depends on which news channel you watch, I've also noticed. Some are more inclined toward Republicans and some toward Democrats.
I think the bottom line is that it goes both ways. Both parties feel like everyone is against them when a lot of people really don't care (when they really should, because it's important to have some sort of say in who's in government), or just want the two parties to get over their differences and work together toward compromise, and then we have the fanatics, who are crazy and won't listen to anything either way. (It's the fanatics that are really against the others, and they do end up on t.v. which is why we get that idea.)

You may be misinformed. The ones who try to make it seem that so many people are against democrats are the voices of the right in the propaganda war. Fox news, Rush Limbaugh......
The funniest utterances from the right are the claims of the liberal media. If the media had a liberal bias, we would be watching the bodies of Iraqis killed by US forces 24/7. We would hear about the Rumsfeld failures 24/7. We would hear the questions about Osama 24/7. We must allow ourselves the luxury of laughing at the "look over there" tactics of the past 12 years. We can only hope that things improve.

Probably why they are so against Republicans, Independents and Green Party individuals. All politicians are liars and thieves. They may not start out that way but they all invariably end up that way. Which is why you may enjoy this quote by Will Rogers who once said during a Presidential election for Teddy Roosevelt: 'Suppose you were a politician and suppose you were an idiot, but I repeat myself.'

Your statemment is childish, youu must be a kid. Question, who are People ? I'm a person, and I am a Liberal, and I am Independant and I think Democrats are wonderful people . The main differance between the two are this: Democrats think of people (all people, black, white brown or green) as equal . Republicans think they are the white elite special few, Hitler thought like that too.

There are some fanatical Republicans, on this website as well. Don't listen to all that. There are plenty who do vote Democrat, proudly, not just since they don't like the Conservative spin.
