I've heard all sorts of rumors about masturbating without lube.....is it truly bad for you?

As long as you hold the penis gently and just move the skin up and down there are no problems. If you get to intense and rub harder than the skin can take you can cause abrasion and soreness.

Men are able do do it without lube if they are not circumcised as the foreskin will supply all the natural lubrication needed to masturbate. Women on the other hand might need more lube since they do not have any foreskin to protect the clitoris during masturbation. The amount of force you use will also determine if you need a lube. Masturbation is suppose to be pleasurable, so if you are doing it correctly you might not need anything at all. Practice makes perfect.

If you do it a lot, the skin gets irritated and tender. Sometimes the skin will dry out and flake off a day or two later.
Best to use hand lotion or some other lube. FYI, vaseline is very hard to dissolve in water...

Rumors are just that...rumors. Dont always believe everything you hear. Not using lube is just fine. It is a matter of personal preference. Just enjoy!

Use a moisturizing body cream on your parts after you shower to keep the skin more pliable and lube is not necessary to get off anyway. To each his own, of course.

If you have dry skin it could bother you and make you sore.
Not having lubricate or having it, is not bad either way.
Just a tip but dont masturbate alot in a small period of time
(in a couple hours or in a day) It could make you raw.
