help! i have a friend who i invited over my house, but than my mom told me that i can't, because i invited....

Help! I don't know what to do, because first of all, i invited five people over my house. the last person i invited said yes, so all of them are coming over. However, I thought I told my mom that I said FIVE instead of FOUR, so she thinks i'm inviting only four. But I can't just tell the fifth person an excuse because than she's going to tell the others that it's canceled, and than the other ones will say it's not canceled, and that will hurt her feelings! I can't cancel it either, because i have it all set up... what do i do!?

You need to either have all 5 friends come over or none at all. If your mom won't let 5 come right now then just tell them all that your mom said you're going to have to postpone it til a later time.

you need to explain the sistuation to your mother if she does not let you have all five then respectful say you will cancel and then cancel the party untill it's ok to have 5 people. It's it either all 5 or none at all. that way no one's feelings get hurt

Beg your mom untill she says yes. Or cancell all of them and wait for another day. Like Saturday, or something of that sort.

Tell your mom that your fifth friend will possibly be offended if he/she is the only one not invited. Tell your mom that you feel like it would disrespect your friend if she were the only one not there. I am sure she will understand your predicament.

Just tell your Mom that you had said five people and that she misunderstood you. That happens to me a lot

Why don't you just be truthful with your mother.....Come to her with reason....1 more person should be alright......
