Why do people care about their outter beauty and not their inner?

Alot of us out there are very concerned about first impressions. But I've always been taught to never judge a book by it's cover and first impressions can be wrong.

Have you ever just met a beautiful person and the more you got to know them the uglier they got? And have you ever met an ugly person and the more you got to know them the more beautiful they became?

People sometimes forget that what they are on the inside eventually will show up on the outside.

But as to why people care more about outter beauty is because it's the first impression that can usually open the door for you. Unless you're the type of person who looks deeper than skin deep.

Liking people because of outer beauty is superficial and doesn't last unless they have the inner beauty of unconditional love and concern for others. Satan has a hold on us and the worldly or"political correctness" has pressured people into desiring the looks and not the deeds of people.That is one of the problems we face as humans. IF the money spent for unessessary plastic surgery were spent on the hungry or used to run adult trade schools, the world would be better off and those giving the money Would Be more beautiful inside which would make them feel great all over!

Some people care about outer beauty more than inner because some people think that with a pretty face you did it. but what they dint know is that when you are pretty from the inside you could live a better and happier life knowing that you are pretty but really you could be so mean and bitter in the inside. the thing I'm trying to say is that as time passes your pretty face wouldn't matter no more.

The irony is that inner beauty is pure and innocent and lasts a lifetime and beyond though most of us don't groom it in any way.
