what do you think? What I mean are the pros and cons of the internet in your perspective?

Pros:
you get to rant out freely in something called a blog or you get to rant on yahoo answers! heehee! Anyway, you also get to meet and chat with people from around the world, and you get to have your own website. It's fun and addicting (as even my teacher says) and it connects alot of people by IM and email.

Cons:
Internet predators (you always see this commercial by the police department about a girl who is raped when meeting someone online), and sometimes there are trolls and popularity contest sites such as myspace and so fourth. It would be fun if you knew how to protect yourself, but teens and others don't and sometimes they lie about their age and then get into trouble.

Yeah, I can tell you ignore the Internet all the way LOL
Well, you win some, you lose some - true, we don't hand-write letters anymore or sit around campfires that much, but look at all the violence and porn we can access so quickly on TV and the 'Net... LOL
Seriously - how long would it take you to find an answer you get through Google in 3 seconds, were there no 'Net? Search a few libraries, we're talkign hours. And you can, if you want, still hand-write your letters and camp whenever you want... so, all in all, I like it better this way. A great question, though.

pro's of the internet
everybody can get in touch with everybody (family, friends, relatives, etc.)
easier to get things byy buying online
easy access to information for research
con's of the internet
everybody can get in touch with strangers (sexual predators, stalkers, etc.)
easier to get things including personal information
i like having the internet.

I totally agree! People fight on the internet ALOT! And they've become so immature and are rude! It would be better if they had real person to person contact.

I can certainly understand why you would say that. I'll go even further and throw in the tv along with it.
