For sure they will, same time last year, they were in the same position with their backs against the wall... Now look we've just won 2 in a row one against the stars whom are a powerhouse with the likes of turco and zubov, give them time I say by christmas we'll be leading the northwest in points. Take alook at Minnesota good team but Fernandez isnt reliable, oilers are struggling, Vancouver has a good team but morrison isnt producing and they've run out of solid healthy blueliners, Colorado is too young to make the playoffs. So with that said we will win the northwest and make the playoffs hopefully the cup

1: Not sure. Really, just the ability to sit back, have a beer, and watch a game. Or go out to a bar, have a beer, and watch the game. 2: I'm a Flames fan, so I'd like it to involve them, though I'd say they're a big long shot. All the matchups I'd love to see in the finals are just way too unlikely. 3: Don't have a daughter, but maybe a guy like Jonathan Toews? He seems like a nice kid. 4: Gonna watch it at home I think, maybe go to a friend's house or a pub. Nothing too big. 5: I think Stamkos looks pretty good, and the revamped Lightning are gonna be a contender as long as their D holds up. 6: Totally biased, but I'd love to see Jarome Iginla get a piece, Trevor Linden, just so he could get one before packing it in, same with Mats Sundin. In terms of guys who were working for it all year long, Malkin and Ovechkin were performing like they really wanted it, and if there was some way to give it to Luongo without giving it to the hated Canucks, that would also be great. Can't quite think of nine. 7: I dunno. Detroit's depth is just crazy, but I think I like Filppula on that line. He's been solid for a while now, and it seems like he could do something special with more ice time and better partners like Franzen and Hank.

They've looked better of late but actually making the playoffs seems more of a concern than how far they can get. If nobody but Iginla and Kipper show up they arnt going to even make it in. Thank goodness Amonte finally showed up last night. Very much a Calgary Flames win.

the Flames had a similar year the last two years, sure they got knocked out last year but they did make the playoffs finals 2 years ago. so there not out of the water yet.
