Getting magazines you don't want and billing statements is very common. When you get a magazine you don't want, don't open the wrapper. Write "REFUSED" across your address and put it back in your mail box. The postal service has to return the magazine at the publisher's expense. (That's what a postal worker told me and it works.) Do the same thing with any billing statements you get, or write "CANCEL" across the face of the statement and send it back if you happen to forget and open one.
What's troubling about your situation is that the publisher actually have your account information and they are debiting your account. Call the credit card company and tell them you want to block any further unauthorized debits from your card and have your account statement ready with the exact name of the source of the debit. You may have to insist on having this done, but insist away and keep insisting until you get to the supervisor level of the credit card company that can comply.
Good luck

this happened to me also. you need to look at your credit card and/or bank statements. there will be a 1-800 or 1-888 number, etc. after the item in question. call them and tell them you did not order the magazine and you want the delivery stopped immediately, and a credit to your acct. it worked for me. if it doesn't stop, contact your bank or credit card company and they will credit your acct. a lot of times, you start getting magazines and other things after you've ordered an item from an infomercial. they may tell you you're going to receive a trial subscription at no cost to you. but if you don't cancel within the trial time period, they'll just keep sending stuff to you. sometimes, they just send things without telling you anything about it. you can still get the money credited back to your account though. good luck with this!!

Good answers from Sallix and Pirate. I'd definitely follow their advice. Additionally, are you responding to Publishers Clearinghouse and/or some of those seemingly free promos that come in the mail. You could also be unknowingly signing up for subscriptions via those entities.

Take the bills and write on them, " I did not order this, please cancel" and mail them back to the address provided.
That's what I do when it happens to me.
