after I had my kids I felt frumpy until I lost the weight. Now I'm back to my pre-pregnancy size and trying to drop another dress size, so I'm feeling good (except for the four slices of pizza I had for dinner tonight -- oops!)

I think mayve what you are referring to is that people are no longer going out and getting admiring looks from the opposite sex. That is fun and I have to say I missed it when it was gone, and appreciate it when I ocassionally do get it. Of course I want to look good for myself and my husband, but its nice to feel attractive to others. Maybe its just me and my ego. :-)

Not necessarily. Some of us who have never been married have our occasional frumpiness. But frumpy is more of a state of mind and if that is how you feel, you need to get out of your comfort zone and do something new, get a hair do, a new dress or something to lift your spirits. Go for it!!!!!

Frumpy? LOL, hell no. I've been running since I was in my late teens and still running right now. In fact, I'm about to do my 6th marathon next month.

No...I didn't feel frumpy until I put on over 80 lbs (because I was unhappy in my marriage)...

the two probable have character issues. Be married to the only which you adore. Be married luckily with out any objective of changing something approximately them. in case you are able to no longer placed up with a "frumpy", do no longer marry one. in case you are able to no longer placed up with all that is going with a "hottie", do no longer marry one. as quickly as you have married, close your eyes and be happy.

No, it's better because you can look as nice as you want, and you know other men don't matter. It's more fun to look great as a married woman and feel proud, rather than feel like you're on the prowl.
