It is a Logitech and it worked fine yesterday. My son unplugged it this morning to plug in a barrowed wired mouse(because we lock the mouse and keyboard up so he can't get on the computer while we are not home) and now I can't get the mouse to work. The keyboard wasn't working either but I got it to work.

I have put new batteries in the mouse and still nothing.

On wireless mice and keyboards there is a button on them that tells the adapter that the mice and keyboard are there. press it on each after restarting your computer. Check manuel for more detailed instructions.

try turning off the computer, connect the mouse and then turn it on again. the wireless mouse should have a little connect button. press it and it should work just as it did before the incident.
