no, it doesn't signal the end. they've been defeated this round...but people who hate that much never give up their bashing. that's why we have to keep fighting, speak out, keep voting to keep the ultra right-wing politicians out of office! they also don't seem to believe in separation of church and state, and still wish to impose their "moral" and religious beliefs upon the laws of this country. the government and the churches have no business in our personal lives...especially in our bedrooms!

Maybe, I hope, people are finally getting sick of those bullies who call themselves conservatives and don't think their gay friends and neighbors should be treated as political footballs?

Maybe people finally realize there are real issues, not just the "red meat", and want to do something about the war and the economy?

Maybe the pendulum's finally gotten its push back?

I hope, I hope, I hope!!!

Meanwhile, I figure (with a friend's help) that with the new governors in Mass. and NY, we may be able to get legally married! Which is fine, because I don't like our new governor in NY; he's a nanny statist. We deserve something good.
