I have a Netgear Router WRG614. All is filled out properly with password and login info for my PPPoE connection with Verizon. It is set up as a router, and is a DHCP server.
When I turn off my PC, and it comes back up, only the LAN is up. The WAN is not. IPConfig shows that. Every time I need to click my network icon to manually connect to the ISP. Should Windows do the logon automatically at startup? How do I get the router to do that? I have gone over the router's instructions over and over. It is set to connect automatically but it doesn't connect my PC.
Would appreciate any tip.

Thanks, D, but this is NOT a wireless connection. It's a regular ethernet connection.

Set the SSID as a "preferred network" in the wireless adapter control panel, then check the "automatically connect to this network " box at the top of the screen, enter the encryption key if required, then your good 2 go like taco bell.
