An interesting reading known as the amulets is used with
nearly any jewel, a class ring, a crystal, or a triangular bookend.
The question presenting goes to the eldest. This person asks
their question to the group, and must wait until after a succesful
seance of an important question is answered. They also help
choose by listening to several people who submit a question.
The first person chosen is the magician, the first person to
speak up then and for the evening, or day is the reader. They
must announce when any point of their own question has been
answered. Now when the first question is out all must close
and cover their eyes with a hat, or a scarf. Then the first
who realizes they whispered is the reader to answer first in
their own opinion. That answer is the duty of the magician to
offer to every other question. Again amulet is shown.
Whoever truly sees any color or brilliance must keep the
amulet for one hour. The first person's question is now up
to the reader after watching the first amulet for this time.
Each person passes the amulet about and when they see
or feel an answer on some related news they must whisper
it to the person holding the amulet. Play until the answers
are interesting or one round of time is over.

Depending on the age of the group and the story, there is:
Choral reading, where the students read together
Reading Theater, where a few students are chosen as narrators while the remainder are actors acting out the story.

Duolog reading is a partnered reading strategy. Match hi-lo readers and give the same text. This can help with decoding, comprehension and fluency.
