Both equally, but differently. "Family" makes up your first friends, and like them or not, will generally be a part of your life forever. "Friends," meanwhile, are of your own choosing, so in theory you might be closer to them. But when things go wrong with the relationship, there's no "Blood bond," to help push you to work out your differences . . . which is why for most people, family tends to endure longer than friends, even though you may not always do things together on a regular basis as much as you do with your closest friends.

I value my family. Friends come and go but family is always there. I have a large family and we are very close, we all get together once a month at a different relatives house, eat and have a good time, so I really don't need friends I have my family. We get together and go out to dinner, lunch or the movies, the same thing you would do with a friend. So my answer is I value my family.

Well for me it's family. They are always there when I need them. Friends come and go. However there are some people with troubled family lives and rely more on friends. So I think that its up to the individual to make the call. Nobody can force people into loving thier family/friends.

I value my family more. My family is always there for me, they dont judge me and they love me unconditionally. Who do you turn to the most when you have troubles? Your Family. I would only do the same for them.
