Why do you use the terms "african american" and "white people"
Most blacks in America are not from Africa and I've never seen a "white"person.(well maybe Tom Petty)

Humans are born to discriminate against things that are foreign. Even Africans born and living in Africa discriminate against each other for various reasons. The Bantus discriminate against the Nilotics, Pygmies and Bushmen, and they in turn discriminate against the Bantus as well as against each other..... So I ask, what are we complaining about here in the US? It must be related to financial gain!!! Why don't you go and GOOGLE it!

definately no. maybe a little better than back in the 50s and 60s thru all of those movements, but there is still tons and tons of racism in the U.S. for example theres no black president, yet and blacks and whites are still discriminative against each other.

I think racism is more covert than overt. Blacks feel that they continue to be oppressed by white in many areas, housing, employment, education, culturally, etc. Segregation is the only way to keep the peace.
