i love them all; but since everyone already picked the obvious ones, i'll say, 1) "meddle", which paved the way for "dark side", & 2) "piper at the gates of dawn", their first. 1 because it alternated between acoustic songs & the VCS synth-driven 'one of these days' and the epic 'echoes', one of the most haunting tracks i ever heard. 2, 'piper' established a sound that was totally original. 'interstellar overdrive' is still amazing, as is most of the album

Wish You Were Here was an awesome album. It's so moody and a little disturbing @ some points, which is very cool when a band can evoke that.

But my favorite is Dark Side of the Moon. I can't think of a single song on that album that I don't love. Except my husband's toes curl when I try to do that one continuous soul/opera vocal piece. lol

EVERY album is amazing but I'd have to pick Dark Side of The Moon as my favorite. They are all good though.

That's a real hard choice. I didn't grow up in that era but learned to love great music from my hippie dad.

Meddle is a great one but I would have to say Wish You Were Here because that song is the first song my dad and I really played together on our guitars. We have it recorded and everything....no words to describe it!

My fav is "Animals". I love the conceptual nature and I read "Animal Farm" in high school, for which it is based on. I think Waters is a creative genius, but wish they could have stayed together. I like other songs better, individually, but for me, the album "Animals" as a whole, is priceless...

Mine is "The Wall"...The reason why is because "Another Brick in the Wall", "Comfortably Numb" and "Hey You" were the first Pink Floyd songs I heard as a kid.

The Wall, without question. Brilliant story telling, brilliant music.
