Yes of course if you have Messenger installed and you have a contact while online asks you via Messenger to connect remotely and you give him the permission. In some cases you may have to adjust your firewall settings to allow this.

You can use Cspace, this will allow remote desktop / vnc style connections to your computer. The great thing about Cspace is that it works from behind a firewall, so you don't have to mess with forwarding ports.
