Certain Labels will usually have same type of music. Billboard music magazine in the Library or at a magazine shop, check the top ten best selling dance music. Buy same artist you have liked before. Composers sell their stuff, if you like certain composers you can find it by what the Musician chooses to record. Remixes of ol skol disco or phat dance songs from the past. Music that has a beat that won't quit like Frankie Bones and Chemical Brothers. Go by type of music like ; drumb and bass, trance, house. hip hop, etc
Best is Billboard, for the list of the fresh hot Beat!

The dance music scene is very fickle and tastes change so ignore sales charts like billboard and look for charts that indicate what is being played in the clubs because a lot of dance music is not available to buy for example "Ghosts" by Tenth Planet was a major club hit around 2001 but was only available via 12" singles and dance mix compilation cd's.
Some college radio stations have lists of their most popular songs and the DJ's keep blogs college radio is a good place to hear whats hot in the world of dance music check this one out...
