Don't let them get you down in the first place.

It's none of your business what people think of you.

suppose it depends on who does it and what it is about, but in general it is not harder for me. i use to be crushed, then realized hey, not everyone will be thrilled with me. i try and take what is said, think about the facts without the emotion and see if it is valid. if it is, fine can work on it. if it isn't , live on maybe they get their fun by putting others down, if so they are sad people with no life. i have a life so we probably won't run into each other often

No. You just have to get zoned. I figure that as long as I am happy with me, then people can stay away from me if they have a problem with me. I don't let people get me down. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I have the right to not have to listen to their crap. If they will never sit at my supper table, then I don't worry about what they think of me or what they say(or will say) about me. So don't worry about it and don't let people pull ya down. Remember that everyone will have to answer for their actions at the end. Just get right with the MAN, and live your life the way you see fit. You are better than that!!!

It depends on the intensity of what they say. If they're just talking trash & they happen to hit a sore spot, then I get a little ticked but I'm over it quickly.

But if someone says something REALLY discouraging, usually NOT minding their own business when they should, that's a tough one. Especially when it's a close friend. I just try to remind myself that most people MEAN well. It's just that we don't come w/ an edit button for our mouths. :)

it depends on the person, but usually yes it is harder to get back up

except when the person brings you down all the time than it starts to become easier to get back up after a certain point

In some cases, it hurts more every time

In others, I learn to fight it off and it actually gets better with each insult

for me, it really depends on who says the insult. if it is someone I barely knw, wont hurt too much. But if the person is someone who i like or respect, it hits hard......

Nope as a matter of fact i had that happen to me today w/ a so-called friend on my 360. I just brushed it off and went on. There's too many other people that would value your friendship much more than those that want to bring you down. Who cares what people think anyway. It's their loss not yours.

Yes. they say nobody can "make" you feel bad, unless you let them, but if you kep hearing negative things you can;t help feeling down. I also heard it said that scar tissue is tougher than virgin tissue, so let's get tough........... (sounds good, wish it worked that way)

yeah, I'm a bit sensitive when people freak on me . Only because I don't freak on anyone myself. It totally depends on who is bringing me down.
