You should probably pick something that interests you or something that you already know a little bit about, since you'll probably have to talk about it. Here's a couple of websites with a lot of ideas:

do what i did four times in a row...

Duracell vs. Energizer...

its easy, and if you do it right you get a good grade...dont make it more complicated than it needs to be, like ive seen so many kids do...they get too in to the freakin' project...

try to see which paper towel obsorbs the best (the cheaper ones, the expensive ones or the ones in between)
