nothing. the match cant spark without oxygen

If the room was filled with 100% methane gas, you would suffocate and die. Also the match would not light anyway because there is no Oxygen.

wrong. our body releases Co2, which contains a incredibly small, yet still there, supply of oxygen. this is enough to allow the match to light. you are now dead.

For any form of combustion you need two primary sources for fire: Fuel (Methane) and Oxygen.

good one. but what about when I stepped in,,wouldn't that allow enough air in to light that match?
